Mutual Disclosure Leading to Increased Obedience
Accountability can be defined as "mutual disclosure leading to increased obedience." The end goal is not simply self-disclosure — it’s increased obedience and life transformation, that we might be conformed to the image of Christ (Romans 8:29) and walk in the same way in which He walked (1 John 2:6). For this to happen, leaders need to model it through self-disclosure and be intentional about guiding conversations. To help, here are some optional resources you can use as you lead accountability times in your groups.

This in-depth accountability worksheet can be used to guide sharing times. Have your small group members fill it out and then discuss their worksheets with the group, talking about areas of victory and areas where growth is needed.
