Cromwell Hall is a Christ-centered post-secondary institution offering a liberal arts education that equips students with intellectual depth, spiritual formation, and vocational skills to serve their communities and impact culture for Christ.
We aspire to graduate generations of biblically informed young men and women who have a heart for the community, the ability to radically influence the culture for Christ, the courage to take a stand for the truth and the faith to believe that with God, all things are possible.
Christ-Centred
We believe that Christ is the centre and the starting point of all learning and wisdom. Through prayer and petition, students are taught to view all of life under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
Culture of Excellence
We are committed to both academic and spiritual excellence through a comprehensive curriculum while encouraging imagination and promoting the development of body, mind and soul.
Soul Formation
We view education as soul formation rather than mere skill-building or data transmission. At Cromwell Hall, our goal is the transfer of wisdom to shape character, virtue, and lifelong discipleship for this world and the next—a work best nurtured within the local community of faith.
Local Flourishing
This self-governing model of education is designed for local human flourishing. Cromwell Hall emphasizes local mentorship, discipleship, and professional development to directly resource and strengthen families, businesses, churches, and civic life.
In partnership with Christian Halls International and Southeastern University (SEU), our church launched Cromwell Hall in September of 2025. Our partnership with SEU allows us to provide university accreditation, ensuring that students receive a high-quality, recognized education.
Currently, we offer a Great Books Program, offering students a rich foundation in the timeless works of the classical liberal arts tradition. This curriculum immerses students in the great texts of philosophy, literature, theology, and history, fostering deep discussion and critical thinking through the Oxford Tutor Model.
The Oxford Tutor Model is a time-honoured approach to education that emphasizes personalized learning through rigorous discussion and mentorship. Rooted in the tutorial system of the University of Oxford, this method pairs students with expert tutors for in-depth, one-on-one or small-group dialogue. Rather than relying on passive lectures, students engage directly with primary texts, articulate their own ideas, and refine their reasoning through active debate. This approach fosters independent thought, intellectual curiosity, and a deep mastery of the subject matter.
