Parent Child Dedication Services

PLEASE NOTE: THIS WILL BE INCORPORATED INTO THE MORNING SERVICE, AT BOTH THE 9AM AND 11:30AM SERVICES. 

A child dedication service is actually a parent commitment service. Parents recognize God’s gracious gift of a child to them and declare their intent to raise that child with a biblical and Christ-centred foundation. Please join us in celebrating this significant moment in the lives of our families.

REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT WILL CLOSE October 20.

Please remember when dedicating your child:

• parents are acknowledging their child as a gift from God, (Psalm 127:3-5).
• parents are publicly declaring their intention to raise their child in such a way that they are given an opportunity to know God and to establish a personal relationship with Christ, (Deuteronomy 6:49, Ephesians 6:4).
• parents are affirming their total dependence upon the Lord, (John 15:5).
• parents are asking family, friends and the church community to prayerfully support and hold them accountable to these commitments. (Hebrews 10:24-25).

A child dedication service is not:

• a guarantee of your child's salvation
• a believer's baptism
• any indication of your child's faith in the Lord

Please note that only those families who meet the following criteria are eligible for participating in a child dedication service: attended Step 1: Connect, attended Step 2: Consider, and are an active member of a Trinity Bible Chapel Small Group for a minimum of 6 months.

Once your registration has been received, you will be contacted by a member of the leadership team at Trinity Bible Chapel to arrange for a convenient time for an interview.
