Mike Vanderboor

Mike was born and raised in Toronto. He grew up going to church but it was not until attending Harvest Barrie in 2001 with his wife Kristin, that he came to an understanding of what it was to have a personal relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ. This is when he came to a true saving faith in the Lord and was baptized as a believer. Mike has been married to his wife Kristin for over 25 years and has been blessed with two sons, Zach and Josiah. Josiah is married to Anne-Lise and also attends TBC. Mike graduated from Redeemer University with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Art and Physical Education as well as a Bachelor of Education. Mike worked as a Teacher and Principal in Christian Education for 17 years before moving into custom home construction in 2016. The Lord has set a path before Mike that has led him into this position at Trinity Bible Chapel. His love for the Lord and his experience in education and construction have provided him the skills and tools needed to serve the church and the Lord, his Saviour in this capacity.
