“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them…” Romans 12:4-6
It is important to remember that serving the church is not about putting our gifts on display or finding a sense of fulfillment. Rather serving is about offering ourselves to the community for the community’s good. The emphasis in Scripture is less on discerning your spiritual gift and more on serving one another in the body of Christ. There are many opportunities to serve at Trinity Bible Chapel. The pastors and staff will help you find a place of service that will both suit your gifts and bless the church.
Step 3: Commit to serve is all about Working for Christ! As part of working for Christ, some training is needed to ensure that we all understand the goal of the position we are filling at the church.
