Trinity Bible Chapel is all about Sundays and small groups. If you spend anytime around us you will hear these two ministries emphasized over and over.
Why is that? Well, Sundays we believe are mandated by Scripture. We believe we are called to assemble and to exalt the name of Christ in corporate worship and to open His Word and hear from Him.
Plus we believe we all need to be a part of real Biblical community. Biblical community cannot happen on Sundays. We must meet together and continually go deeper in our knowing and being known.
Back to our Sunday ministries – a key element of every Sunday would be our Children’s Ministry, and our greeters ministry, ushers team, etc., etc. We have so many opportunities for people to honour God by serving Him and serving others every Sunday.
God created us to use the spiritual gifts (vehicles to extend grace) He gives us at salvation to serve each other and bless each other and build up the body of Christ.
Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be uninformed. … To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. … All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. … Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. … Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them.
If you are newer to Trinity, a GREAT way to meet some new friends and to get plugged in to the ministry would be to join a logistics team or the greeters team or the Trinity Kids team. We believe that if you don’t start serving and if you don’t join a small group within your first 6-8 months of attending Trinity you likely won’t last for you will ultimately feel disconnected and uncared for.
Together, each of us doing our part, will build our church as God energizes and enables our service and brings grace and care and love to one another.
