Dear Fellow Christians and Neighbours:
Many are in despair. Darkness has come upon the land. People are suicidal. They’re turning to drugs and alcohol to cope. Businesses are destroyed, leaving entrepreneurs and employees wondering how to survive. Families are fractured. We are required to isolate during the darkest and coldest time of the year. This is all to save us from a disease that 97.93% of Canadians have not tested positive for and more than 99.9467% of Canadians have not died from since it arrived on our shores over a year ago.
I offer you the eternal hope of the love of God in Jesus Christ. Christ died on the cross, so that if you repent of your sins and put your faith in Him He will forgive all your transgressions and grant you abundant eternal life. If there ever was a time for the church to be open, it is now.
Sadly, we are presently under the heavy hand of the Province of Ontario. (Our legal team has provided an important update here.) So this Sunday, we must resort to hosting a parking lot service. Officials will likely be watching, and they will not permit us to exit our vehicles. But I promise you that you will hear a message of hope — an ancient message passed down to us by the hands of martyrs and faithful Christians who’ve come before us — the message of a loving Christ Who will forgive us our sins and relieve our guilt. He offers all peoples and persons an abundant joy filled eternal life. You are warmly invited to attend. Service will start at 10:30 AM, Sunday (DV). Please arrive early. I plan to preach outside. It’s not church, but it will be uplifting. And we could all use some uplifting right now.
